Requirements

All coaching positions are approved by the CHA Board. Questions should be directed to our Coaching Director, gary.tockman@chesterfieldhockey.com.

All head and assistant coaches must be certified at the appropriate level. 

Coaches must renew their certifications every three years or advance to the next certification level. Once a coach has reached Level 4, certificates no longer need to be renewed.

Coaches must submit a notarized screening application to Missouri Hockey.

Any adult involved with a team, in a coaching or managerial position, must submit a background check application as required by Missouri Hockey. A list of approved adults is maintained on Missouri Hockey's website. Once approved, these screenings must be renewed every three years. Once a coach is assigned to a team, this application must be submitted to our coaching director. CHA pays for up to three applications per team.
